Richmond International Airport Construction Takes Off

Richmond International Airport (RIC) is in the final phase of a comprehensive capital improvement program. With the dedication of the new terminal building on July 30, 2007, airport customers may now fully enjoy a new two-level terminal featuring upper level departures and lower level arrivals areas, spacious ticketing and baggage claim halls, all new restaurants and retail stores, and widened and improved security checkpoint portals.
