NEW YORK (February 6, 2008) - JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq: JBLU), the leading airline between the Northeast and Florida, will extend previously seasonal service on six Florida routes to year-round service effective immediately. Customers can now enjoy the convenience of nonstop flights in winter, summer, and every day in between on these six new routes:

  • Fort Lauderdale to/from Charlotte, N.C.
  • Fort Lauderdale to/from Raleigh, N.C.
  • Fort Lauderdale to/from Richmond, Va.
  • Fort Myers to/from White Plains, N.Y.
  • Orlando to/from Burlington, Vt.

Orlando to/from Portland, Maine
"From Maine to Mexico and from California to the Caribbean, JetBlue is proud to now offer customers in 21 cities the convenience of nonstop access to the Sunshine State," said Jim Fuoco, JetBlue's manager of route planning. "With as many as 145 daily departures to Florida, JetBlue makes jetting off to America's playground a breeze. We look forward to welcoming you aboard the airline with the most free live entertainment of any airline, the most legroom in coach(a), plus all the snacks you can eat."

More Florida service coming in March
JetBlue will add its first international service from Florida next month with the launch of daily nonstop service from Orlando to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (starts March 6) and Cancun, Mexico (starts March 13). JetBlue also intends to begin service from Orlando to Bogotá, Colombia later this year - Central Florida's only nonstop service to South America - pending route authority from the U.S. Department of Transportation.

In addition to nonstop service from 21 destinations, JetBlue also offers customers easy Florida connections from dozens of other cities across the United States. Check out all routes and shop for the lowest fare online at www.jetblue.com.

New York-based JetBlue Airways has created a new airline category based on value, service and style. Known for its award-winning service and free TV as much as its low fares, JetBlue is now pleased to offer customers the most legroom throughout coach (based on average fleet-wide seat pitch for U.S. airlines). JetBlue introduced complimentary in-flight e-mail and instant messaging services on aircraft "BetaBlue," a first among U.S. domestic airlines. JetBlue is also America's first and only airline to offer its own Customer Bill of Rights, with meaningful and specific compensation for customers inconvenienced by service disruptions within JetBlue's control. Visit www.jetblue.com/promise for details. JetBlue serves 53 cities with 550 daily flights. With JetBlue, all seats are assigned, all travel is ticketless, all fares are one-way, and an overnight stay is never required.
