Baggage Handling System Maintenance Technician
Seeking experienced Maintenance Tech. to maintain the Airport's Baggage Handling System. Available - Day shift - Monday - Thursday from 4:00 am - 3:00 pm.. Responsible for responding to conveyor alarms, clearing jammed baggage and cargo, resetting motor controls, repairing conveyor belts and performing daily routine maintenance of all baggage handling system components including basic cleaning, maintenance, lubricating and adjusting. Requires strong electronic, electrical and mechanical background to service the various electro-mechanical components associated with the conveyor system. Applicants must have knowledge of the trade equivalent to completion of a two (2) year technical training program, five (5) years hands-on experience maintaining such equipment and systems. Possession of a valid Virginia State Journeyman card in at least one of the building trade areas is preferred. Comprehensive benefit package offered.
